Add doors, windows and other elements of this type, specifying the exact size of each of them. From there, in the space you have available, you can place the furniture with the pre-designed pieces provided by the programme, which you can also change the size to suit what you already know you are going to buy or what you have at home.

In this way you will be able to play at changing the furniture and see how the space looks once the change has been made or see if the layout you have in mind for your new flat is really compatible with the furniture in your current flat.
